Bio
Heidy is the receptionist at the ELI, having joined the team during the Fall 2024 semester. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Arts and Sciences from the University of Florida (UF). Born and raised in Cuba, Heidy moved to Florida in 2011 and has called it home ever since. Fluent in both Spanish and English, Heidy credits watching Hannah Montana as a fun and formative way she learned English. Passionate about art and animation, she enjoys meeting new people and loves engaging in conversations about art.
